Which of these should I get 2x 1.5gb gtx580 or 2x 3gb gtx580 or 2x 3gb gtx590?

Which would be the best for getting the best frame rate at highest graphics and also money wise and noise levels|||What kind of monitor are you going to use?

In regards to the GTX 590, On the box it says 3gb of graphics memory. However that memory is not shared. One half of the memory goes to one GPU, the other half goes to the other.

If you plan to Crank up the AA on the 5760X1080 setup you will need the 3gb of V-RAM. The GTX 590 will suffer from a memory bottleneck. This makes the Radeon 6990 a better card since the memory bottle neck isn't quite as bad.

With the 5760X1080 setup, 2x 3gb GTX 580's in SLI you give you the ability to crank up the AA with lower framrates. Two GTX 590's in SLI will crap out once the setting go beyond AA. While 2x GTX 590 in SLI will give much higher frames with no AA. With no AA two 3gb GTX 580's will be slower than two GTX 590's in SLI. Your call. 3x 3gb GTX 580's in triple SLI would be ideal for running this in 3D.

The single 2560X1600 monitor in 3D would benefit the most from the from the horsepower of 2x GTX 590's in SLI. You could get 2x 1.5gb GTX 580's and be fine. The 3gb GTX 580 model isn't needed for the single 2560X1600 monitor.|||Well, if money is no object, 2.3gb gtx 590. for price, 2.3gb gtx580. the 590 is really new, so the gtx580 will have a brief dip in price, but it will go up again when the 590 isn't cutting edge.|||2x 3gb gtx590

In this comparison, more is always better. However, performance:cost ratio will suffer as the 590s are currently top of the line.

Also, I think 3x 3D monitors require 3 graphics cards.|||Looks good so far

Good Builds ...
